Description

Bronchogen (AEDL) Peptide

1. Basic Profile

Bronchogen, also known as AEDL (H-Ala-Glu-Asp-Leu-OH), is a synthetic short tetrapeptide bioregulator developed by Professor Vladimir Khavinson’s research group.

It belongs to the organ-specific peptide bioregulator series, engineered to target bronchial and pulmonary epithelial tissue.

  • Amino Acid Sequence: L-Alanyl-L-Glutamyl-L-Aspartyl-L-Leucine (AEDL)
  • Molecular Weight: 446.44 Da
  • Form: Lyophilized white powder
  • Half-life: Very short (minutes in circulation); long-lasting epigenetic effects persist after peptide clearance

2. Mechanism of Action

Bronchogen differs from conventional receptor-binding peptides. It penetrates cell membranes and enters the cell nucleus to interact with DNA, modulating gene expression of respiratory tissue cells.
  1. Upregulate lung-specific transcription factors (NKX2-1, FOXA1, FOXA2, SCGB1A1) to maintain normal differentiation of bronchial epithelial cells.
  2. Protect ciliated epithelial cells, improve mucociliary clearance function of the airway.
  3. Balance inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-6), reduce chronic low-grade inflammation in respiratory tract.
  4. Promote repair of damaged bronchial mucosal barrier; support regeneration of airway epithelium.
  5. Boost pulmonary surfactant synthesis to stabilize alveolar structure and improve gas exchange efficiency.
  6. Research target: age-related lung function decline, post-infection respiratory tissue recovery, and chronic airway injury models.

3. Main Observed Research Effects

  • Restore integrity of bronchial epithelial lining
  • Reduce airway inflammation and mucosal irritation
  • Improve respiratory tissue repair after viral or bacterial respiratory infections
  • Slow age-related degeneration of lung tissue
  • Support normal mucus clearance and reduce mucus overproduction
  • Enhance local respiratory mucosal immune defense

4. Reconstitution Instructions (Lyophilized Vial)

Common specifications: 10mg / 20mg per vial
  1. Allow the peptide vial to reach room temperature; disinfect the rubber stopper with alcohol.
  2. Slowly inject Bacteriostatic Water (BAC water) along the inner wall of the vial, avoid direct impact onto powder.
Recommended mixing scheme: 10mg powder + 2mL BAC water → Concentration = 5 mg/mL
  1. Gently rotate the vial to dissolve powder. DO NOT shake violently to prevent peptide degradation and foaming.
  2. Storage Requirements
  • Unreconstituted lyophilized powder: Store sealed at -20°C, protected from light. Shelf life up to 24 months.
  • Reconstituted peptide solution: Refrigerate at 2°C ~ 8°C, stable within 28 days. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

5. Research Administration Protocols

Option 1: Subcutaneous Injection (Most Common Lab Protocol)

  • Starting dosage: 500 mcg daily (adaptation phase)
  • Standard maintenance dosage: 750 mcg – 1000 mcg daily
  • Timing: Administer in the evening, 1–2 hours after meals
  • Injection site: Lower abdomen subcutaneous tissue; rotate injection points regularly
  • Cycle Schedule: 4 weeks on cycle → 8 weeks off cycle; repeat cycles for long-term observation

Option 2: Inhalation / Intranasal Administration (Respiratory Direct Delivery Research)

  • Reference working concentration: 0.25 mg/mL ~ 1 mg/mL
  • Once daily delivery for localized airway experimental research
Note: Oral protocols exist in Russian preclinical literature but are less widely adopted in international peptide laboratory research.

6. Precautions

  1. Pure laboratory research reagent. Not approved for human medical use.
  2. Strict sterile operation required during reconstitution to avoid bacterial contamination.
  3. If turbidity, precipitation or abnormal local irritation occurs, terminate the experiment immediately.
  4. Limited independent large-scale human clinical data; all effects are concluded from preclinical and in-vitro cell studies.

Short Version (For Product Page / WhatsApp / Customer Message)

Bronchogen (AEDL) Peptide

Bronchogen (AEDL) is a Khavinson-series tetrapeptide bioregulator targeting bronchopulmonary tissue. It enters cell nuclei to regulate gene expression of airway epithelial cells, study mucosal repair, airway inflammation relief, and lung tissue anti-aging.

Reconstitution

Dissolve lyophilized powder with bacteriostatic water. Rotate gently to dissolve without shaking.

Reference Subcutaneous Research Dosage

Start at 500 mcg daily; standard dose 750–1000 mcg daily.

Cycle: 4 weeks on, then 8 weeks break.
